“U.S. – China Relations under President Obama’s Watch: The Trial of Strength during the Global Recession” will be the subject of a presentation by Suisheng (Sam) Zhao on Wednesday, Oct. 6, from 12-1 p.m. in the Bone Student Center Third Floor East Lounge. The event is free and open to the public.
Zhao is the executive director of the Center for China-U.S. Cooperation in the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver. His teaching and research focus on East Asian international relations, Asian regionalism, and Chinese politics, nationalism, and foreign policy.
His presentation is part of Illinois State University’s International Studies Seminar Series exploring topics in global politics and culture. The seminar series is organized by the Unit for International Linkages, Office of International Studies and Programs, and the Women’s Studies Program.
