Illinois State University’s Faculty Jazz Quartet will present a free concert on Thursday, Oct. 28, at 8 p.m. in Kemp Recital Hall. The performance is part of the Charles W. Bolen Faculty Recital Series. The quartet consists of saxophonist Paul Nolen, pianist Kevin Hart, bassist Bill Koehler and drummer Tom Marko.
The concert will feature music by jazz artists Victor Feldman, Kenny Wheeler, Wayne Shorter and John Coltrane, along with original compositions by bassist Bill Koehler and central Illinois native John “Doc” Scott.
