Illinois State University’s Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble will perform in concert on Thursday, Jan. 20, at 8 p.m. in the University’s Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall. Tickets are $8 for general admission, $7 for faculty and staff and $6 for students and seniors.

The concert will feature performances by the full Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble as well as the Wind Symphony and the Symphonic Winds Tuba-Euphonium Quartets under the baton of School of Music faculty member Andy Rummel. The concert program will include music by Guiseppe Verdi, Hector Berlioz, Gustav Holst, Antonin Dvorak and Ernesto Lecuona.

The Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble and the Wind Symphony and Symphonic Winds Tuba-Euphonium Quartets have also been selected to perform at the Illinois Music Educator’s All-State Music Conference in Peoria, Jan. 27-29.
