Thomas Metcalf School students Ethan and Autumn participated in the Braille Challenge in Chicago on Saturday, March 5.
The Braille Challenge is a reading competition that focuses on the areas of reading comprehension, proofreading, and spelling. Both students spent time preparing for this event and did an excellent job!
Ethan, a second-grader, competed against five other first and second grade students finishing the competition in second place! We are so proud of both students for taking part in this reading challenge. It was an exciting day for parents, students and teachers.
