It was a beautiful morning to run, and that is just what sixth-graders Britany Ziemer and Katie Spaulding did on Saturday as they finished first and second in the Lake Run for the 14-under division.
Britany defended her first place title from last year by dropping 3 minutes off her race time in a lightening fast 36:17. Katie ran a very impressive 37:56 in her first Lake Run.
