Members of Alpha Kappa Psi, a professional business fraternity at Illinois State, are looking for suits.
Faculty and staff can bring gently used business attire to the Suits at Work drop- off location in the State Farm Hall of Business Dean of Students office.
There will be a special Suits at Work event for students from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 16, and Tuesday, Feb. 17, in the Old Main Room of the Bone Student Center. Suits collected will be sold at a drastically reduced rate to college students. All of the proceeds and business attire not sold will be donated to the Home Sweet Home Ministries.
“College students are still in need of suits when going to internship or career fairs and interviews,” said Grace Blickhan of Alpha Kappa Psi. “As business students, the Suits at Work team understands the burden of buying a suit for those professional events. We have come up with a way to remedy that cost for our fellow Redbirds, all while giving back to the Bloomington/Normal community.”
