Campus Recreation’s marketing team was recently recognized by their national professional organization, the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association, for several Creative Excellence Awards. The Creative Excellence Awards focus on outstanding marketing and advertising materials published by the NIRSA Membership. Awards include: first place, Comprehensive Brochure for the Playbook; second place, Website; third place, Student Publication for the Water Bottle Swap Infographic; third place, Sustainable Marketing for the Reggie Ride Program.

Maureen Smith, director of enrollment and transition services for the Illinois State College of Education, has been elected to serve as the advising education majors chair for the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA).
George Byrnes, EHS, will receive the American Industrial Hygiene Association Award in April.
The ISU Model United Nations team has been recognized as a “Distinguished Delegation” for the second year in a row at the end of the weeklong annual National Model United Nations conference.
