Cynthia Kukla, ART, completed her third invitation as visiting professor of art at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AU-TH) in June 2015. Kukla expanded research at ancient Greek sites by painting at ancient Stageira, near Thessaloniki, birthplace of Aristotle. As a result, she is invited to participate in the 2400th anniversary of Aristotle’s birth in 2016 in Greece.
Chuck Scott, Facilities Management, is president-elect of APPA–Leadership in Educational Facilities, the leading industry association of professionals at educational institutions. Scott began his term as president-elect on August 5, and will serve as APPA president beginning in August 2016.

The paper was designated as a “2015 Hot Article in Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry” and was given the front cover for this issue of OBC. Lash also co-authored “Unusual Peroxide-Dependent, Heme-Transforming Reaction Catalyzed by HemQ,” in Biochemistry.
Touré Reed, HIS, published “Why Liberals Separate Race from Class” in Jacobin magazine, which discusses the Black Lives Matter’s criticism of presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.
L.J Zigerell, POL, published an article in the September 2015 issue of Political Research Quarterly, titled “Distinguishing Racism from Ideology: A Methodological Inquiry.”
Jeff Barrett, MAT, co-authored two book chapters, published this year. “Learning Progressions Research Planning and Design” and “Examples of Research Tools Developed in Mathematics Education and Science Education,” which appeared in Learning Progressions for Maps, Geospatial Technology, and Spatial Thinking: A Research Handbook. (Cambridge Scholars Publishing).
