Illinois State University’s University Band and Symphonic Band will perform in concert at 8 p.m. Thursday, October 8, in the University’s Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for faculty/staff, and $6 for students and seniors.
The University Band will perform Frank Erickson’s Air for Band, John Mackey’s Foundry, and Kirkpatrick Fanfare by Andrew Boysen. The Symphonic Band will perform Aaron Copland’s Down A Country Lane, Variations on “America” by Charles Ives, Peterloo Overture by Malcolm Arnold, American Salute by Morton Gould, Frank Ticheli’s Shenandoah, and Yosemite Autumn by Mark Camphouse.
University Band and Symphonic Band are conducted by Gavin Smith and Joe Manfredo.
