OneNote: Introduction
Monday, February 15 • 1–4 p.m.
Transform how you take and share notes with Microsoft OneNote. Unlike a word processor, OneNote allows you to easily include images, videos, and audio clips anywhere on the page. Organize information into virtual notebooks that can be shared across all your devices and with others. This workshop shows you the basic features of OneNote, how to navigate the interface, and how to synchronize OneNote across mobile devices.
ReggieNet: Lessons
Tuesday, February 16 • 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Discover how to easily create online instructional modules using the Lessons tool. This powerful tool allows you to integrate resources from across your ReggieNet site (Tests & Quizzes, Assignments, and Forums) into online lessons. Design lessons that require students to complete goals before they can proceed to the next stage. You will also learn how to integrate multimedia content. This course will also briefly discuss organizing content in other ReggieNet features, such as the Resources and Web Content tools. Prerequisite: Introduction to ReggieNet.
Future Professors Professional Development Circle
Tuesday, February 16 • 12–1 p.m.
This professional development circle helps graduate students prepare for a career teaching in the academy. Explore pedagogical issues, effective and disruptive teaching strategies, and gain confidence in your ability to teach at the college level. Share teaching tips, tricks, and get support from other future professors. All participants will receive a copy of Teaching What You Don’t Know by Therese Huston. This group is open to all graduate students currently teaching or planning to teach in the future. No registration necessary.

Get an introduction to this page layout editor, including a tour of basic tools. Learn to place and move graphics and text to create an aesthetically pleasing format for printing.
Photoshop: Selection

Discover how to make harder selections using Photoshop’s more advanced selection of tools.

CTLT’s Early-Career Faculty Circles offer faculty in their first, second, or third year of service at ISU a combination of professional development and peer support. Join us for a series of lively conversations about surviving and thriving in the academy. Topics are based on chapters from Make It Stick: The Science of Successful Learning by Peter Brown, Henry Roediger, and Mark McDaniel. Participants will receive a copy of the book and an executive summary of each chapter. Come to either the Wednesday or Thursday session. No registration necessary.
