Karen Marais, an associate professor in Purdue University’s School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, will present “Data Driven Analysis of General Aviation Safety” at 4 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, in Moulton Hall, room 214. The talk is part of the Spring 2016 Physics Colloquium.
Marais’ research focuses on system safety and risk analysis, value-centric system design and operation, and civil aviation policy. She holds a Ph.D. in aerospace engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
