Milner Library is open 24 hours a day until finals week ends at 5 p.m. Friday, May 6.
We are continuing the tradition of study breaks. We will have free coffee, doughnuts, and healthy snacks starting at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, May 1–3. Volunteers from across campus will be helping pour drinks and hand out doughnuts until we run out.
Because of student demand, both Floor 4 and Floor 5 are quiet study spaces during the last two weeks of the semester. This helps more students find quiet places to work. Laptops, cameras, and graphing calculators are available to borrow from the circulation desk, as they are all year-round.
Our group spaces on Floors 2, 3, and 6 remain available, and we’ve added more whiteboards and power outlets on Floor 3 to help make it easier to stay connected and finish projects.
Additionally, PAWSitively Stress Free will be at the library for twice as long as usual. Therapy dogs, chair massages, adult coloring books, and other stress-relieving activities will be available from 2–6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, May 2 and 3, on Floor 3.
Finally, don’t forget about our friendly librarians, who are here to help with research questions until 10 p.m. most nights. You can find them on Floor 2 or Floor 6 at the reference desk, chat with them online from the library home page, or even send a text message!
