Illinois State Homecoming weekend 2016 is October 7-9. Athletic events begin Friday night with Hoopfest 2016, beginning at 6:45 p.m.
Festivities will continue Saturday morning with the Hall of Fame breakfast. There will be tailgating on Saturday with lots opening at 7 a.m. The football team will face Youngstown State with kickoff slated for 2 p.m. There is also a soccer game Sunday afternoon against conference foe Missouri State, with kickoff set for 1 p.m.
Tickets for the football game can be purchased at goredbirds.com/tickets. Admission to the soccer game is free. Tailgate passes can be purchased at Parking.IllinoisState.edu. Go Redbirds!
