Trick-or-Treat for Change will be from 5-8 p.m. October 31. Volunteers for this service project dress in costumes and “trick-or-treat” for monetary donations from residents in Bloomington-Normal.
Illinois State University and Illinois Wesleyan students will be knocking on doors during trick-or-treat hours on Halloween, but rather than collecting candy, they will be collecting spare change to support Habitat for Humanity. Those who will not be home and are interested in donating can visit www.habitatmclean.org and click on “Donate.”
The event is sponsored by the Illinois State University’s Leadership and Community Connections in the Dean of Students Office, and IWU/ISU Habitat for Humanity chapters.
