November started and ended with plenty of excitement here on the campus of Illinois State University!
In sports, the Chicago Cubs won the World Series, prompting an outburst of celebration among Redbird Cubs fans. The Redbird soccer and football teams advanced to the playoffs, as did men’s and women’s rugby. In their free time, many Redbird teams and student organizations recorded some impressive “Mannequin Challenge” videos.
Throughout the month, talented students across the country opened their acceptance packet from Illinois State and realized their dreams of becoming #FutureRedbirds. The month ended with alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents, and friends joining together on #GivingTuesdayISU to support and improve the university that means so much to us all.
