The Office of International Studies and Programs is excited to announce the Spring 2017 Study Abroad Fair, which will be held Thursday, January 26, from 1:30–3:30 p.m., in the Prairie Room of the Bone Student Center.
Illinois State University students will have a chance to explore study abroad program opportunities throughout the world. Representatives from universities abroad, Illinois State faculty directors, study abroad alumni, and affiliate provider companies will all be present.
Studying abroad is an exciting and valuable part of a college experience, and the benefits that come from participating in a program are limitless. Students can boost their professional development, advance foreign language skills, and take courses for their major/minor and general education requirements. There are also program opportunities for internships, student teaching, and volunteer/service learning abroad.
Students who attend the fair have a chance to win one of three $500 scholarships (to be used once accepted on an OISP-sponsored study abroad program by December 2018). If you have questions about this event, please contact (309) 438-5276.
Where in the world will you study?
