Looking for a way to get involved during the spring semester? If your answer is yes, then sign up to play an intramural sport.
Campus Recreation will be offering a variety of different sports this semester, with 12 different leagues and tournaments. There will be three registration time lines for our various sports, with the first opening on January 17 and closing on January 25. This first session will offer basketball, indoor soccer, Wiffleball, a swim meet, and our intramural combine where you can test your strength, speed, and agility.
The offerings do not stop there. They keep getting better! Registration will begin on February 27 and end March 8 for softball, volleyball, flag football, and 7v7 soccer. So be sure to sign up for your favorite sports before leaving for spring break.
Last, but certainly not least, we have the third registration opening coming your way for our final three sports. From March 20 through 29, you can reserve your spot in tournaments for pool 3v3 basketball, ultimate Frisbee, and kickball.
“Friendly competition, stress relief, and a great way to stay active are all benefits of signing up,” said Drew Ison, coordinator-intramural sports. “Head over to IMLeagues and sign up because spots will fill up quickly.”
