Several administrative/professionals are ready to hit the stage and show off their moves on February 24. These team will compete in Illinois State’s Unlimited Dance Team’s Dancing with the Faculty Staff Stars to help raise gifts for The Baby Fold.
The A/P team (comprised of several A/P Council members) is ready to dance to the tune of Disney on February 24 at 7 p.m. in the Brown Ballroom. Team member Hannah Mesouani hopes to get a fan section too. “Our team has put in solid work, and we are ready to share some love and laughs with the campus community. It’s going to be a great time!”
The event is free, but Unlimited Dance Team will be collecting monetary donations along with diapers, baby food, socks, shirts, wipes, formula, and plastic toys on behalf of The Baby Fold. Following the program, stop by Medici to celebrate with teams and enjoy a Friday evening together.
The competition is meant to be fun, but teammate Stephanie Duquenne also believes it is a positive way to get involved as an employee of Illinois State. “It is important to get involved in things outside of your department and your normal area of work. Supporting a student cause is an added bonus of this particular event. AP Council wants to be a good example on how others can get involved in campus life in a variety of ways.”
Make sure to mark calendars and bring high energy and cheers for the A/P team.
