Help save the planet, one water bottle at a time this Earth Day. Thirty billion water bottles are sold every year, and only 12 percent are recycled. Join Campus Recreation, the Office of Sustainability, University Recycling, and Student Access and Accommodation Services in the 5th annual Water Bottle Swap.
Due to Earth Day falling on a Saturday, this event will take place on Monday, April 24 starting at noon in the center of the quad. Bring your plastic water bottle to trade in for a new Campus Recreation Camelbak. There is a limit of one Camelbak per person so come early to make sure you get one before supplies run out.
“This event is a great way to get a Campus Rec Camelbak and do some good for the environment at the same time,” says Assistant Director of Marketing Andy Read.
