The Illinois Shakespeare Festival (ISF) announces that all performances of I Heart Juliet have sold out. An online waiting list has been started for cancellations or in the event that an additional performance is added. Waiting list requests can be made by calling the box office at (309) 438-2535.
The production’s preview performance will take place on Saturday, July 8 at 2 p.m. The production will officially open Sunday, July 9 at 2 p.m. and continue on Tuesdays and Sundays at the Westhoff Theatre on the Illinois State University campus through Aug. 8, 2017.
The principal roles for I Heart Juliet feature Jesse Bhamrah as Romeo and Susie Parr as Juliet. Additional cast members include Emily Wold as Lady Capulet, Joe Bianco as Monte, Mehry Eslamina as Lady Monte, Jose Nateras as Parry, returning ISF company member Tyler Miller as Capulet, and Chris Vizurraga as Benny V. The cast also includes three acting interns: Christian Strange as Mercutio, Christian Frieden as Tybalt, and Madeleine Calais as DJ.
Directing I Heart Juliet is Kevin Rich. Rich is the artistic director for ISF and recently joined the theatre faculty at University of Colorado in Boulder. He returns to ISF as a director following the 2014 season’s popular Antony and Cleopatra. Joe Klug, set designer, is making his debut with ISF after designing several productions in Chicago and Milwaukee. Other design team members include Christina Leinicke, costumes; Kieran Pereira, sound; and Dan Ozminkowski, lighting.

The Illinois Shakespeare Festival is a professional Shakespearean festival that is a part of the College of Fine Arts at Illinois State University.
