Erika Hunt, Alicia Haller, and Lisa Hood of the Center for the Study of Education Policy have had their book proposal accepted by Routledge Research titled, Reforming Principal Preparation at the State Level: Perspectives on Policy Reform from Illinois.
Due out next year, the book will answer common questions as to how Illinois transformed the way principals are prepared through collaborative change involving higher education in partnership with school districts. The book will provide a variety of examples and chapters written by those involved in the change process in Illinois, including the foreword to the book, which will be written by former Secretary of Education Arne Duncan.
