The Illinois Network to Transform Teaching (NT3) hosted a learning session November 8 to bring together all Illinois NT3 district teams for a day of learning, collaboration, and sharing of ideas to advanced accomplished teaching.
District and school teams in the room included Kankakee School District 111, Mount Vernon City Schools District 80, Salem Elementary District 111, Trico Community Unit School District 176, and West Aurora School District 129. Each district team consisted of the NT3 Improvement Lead, principals from pilot schools, and two to three teachers from each of those schools. The sharing was wide and the conversations rich!
The Illinois NT3 is funded by a U.S. Department of Education Supporting Effective Educator Development (SEED) grant in partnership with the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards and the National Board Resource Center at Illinois State University.
