Redbird fans can start planning their weekends to cheer on the men’s and women’s basketball teams during the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Tournaments this March.
Arch Madness in St. Louis
The men’s basketball team will head to St. Louis to compete in Arch Madness from March 1-4. Fans can purchase all-session tickets for the tournament for $175 by visiting GoRedbirds.com/Tickets or the Illinois State Athletics ticket office.
Fans interested in staying throughout Arch Madness have access to a limited number of discounted rooms at The Hyatt Regency St. Louis at The Arch, the official Illinois State home base during the 2018 MVC Tournament. For $162 per night, fans can choose either a room with one king bed or two double beds, and for $187 per night, fans can choose a triple or quadruple occupancy room. Plus, this hotel is only a mile away from the Scottrade Center, the home of Arch Madness.
Hotel rooms are still available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are subject to a two-night minimum stay. At the time of making a reservation, the guest will be charged a two-night, refundable deposit. Standard 24-hour cancellation will apply to each reservation. Hoops in the Heartland in Quad Cities
The women’s team will hit the road the following week to compete in Hoops in the Heartland at the Quad Cities’ TaxSlayer Center from March 8-11. Redbird fans hoping to secure the best seats can purchase tickets online at GoRedbirds.com/Tickets or by visiting the Illinois State Athletics ticket office. All-session tickets for the Tournament are $40.
Fans looking to stay for Hoops in the Heartland can book a room at the Hotel Blackhawk-Autograph Collection, the official Illinois State home base. Rooms are $139 per night. Reservations can be made by calling Samantha Ott at (563) 484-5906 and asking for the Illinois State MVC fan block. All reservations must be accompanied by a first-night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Any reservations made must be cancelled no later than 48 hours prior to arrival.
