At the next University Club meeting, Professor of Music Michael Dicker will deliver a talk titled, “Wandering in Bach’s Country and Beyond” at 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 30, in the Founders Suite of the Bone Student Center. The talk is open to the campus community.
In his speech, Dicker will take attendees on a musical journey of Europe. He will provide an overview of European music hailing from regions like Eisenach, Arnstadt, Wiemar, Köthen, and Leipzig. A series of photos from Prague will also be shown.
All faculty, staff, annuitants, and guests are welcome to attend University Club, which runs from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Continued program support is provided by the Office of the Provost and the Office of the President. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
