Ivan Korkes was 12 years old when he came to the United States as an Assyrian refugee after the Iraq War. Today he is double majoring in international business and human resources and was able to study abroad thanks to the Friends of Donna Mauk Endowed Scholarship. “The scholarship I received help me move forward with my career,” Korkes said.
