Laura Kowalczyk, the Senior Professionals coordinator, will present the talk “Enhancing the College Experience Outside the Traditional Classroom” for University Club (U-Club) at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1 in the Founders Suite of the Bone Student Center.
The talk will highlight the role of the Senior Professionals on Illinois State’s campus. The organization has been around for 29 years and has brought together retirees, students, faculty, and the community. This talk will share the ways in which these groups use their experiences as retired professionals, working people, and students to work with many groups on campus, including the athletic programs, Honors students, veterans, the Career Center, and the Dean of Students.
All faculty, staff, annuitants, and ISU community members are welcome to attend the University Club from 3:30-5:30 p.m. this Friday in the Founders Suite of the Bone Student Center. The campus community is invited.
Additional information about U-Club events and activities can be found at the U-Club website. Continued program support is provided by ISU’s Office of the Provost and the Office of the President.
