Erin Mikulec
Erin Mikulec, associate professor in the School of Teaching and Learning and ISU Fulbright Scholar liaison, will present a talk titled, “Fulbright Scholars at ISU and Abroad” at the University Club at 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 5, in the Founders Suite of the Bone Student Center.
The Fulbright program was started in 1946 under Arkansas Senator J. William Fulbright. He had a great influence on America’s foreign policy, and it was due to this vision that the exchange program was created bearing his name. The Fulbright program awards approximately 8,000 grants annually, with 370,000 “Fulbrighters” since the program’s creation.
All faculty, staff, annuitants, and ISU community members are welcome to attend the University Club from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Friday in the Founders Suite of the Bone Student Center. The campus community is invited.
