The winner of the 2019 Clarence W. Sorensen Distinguished Dissertation Award is Douglas Ryan Schuweiler for his dissertation “Dopamine Transients and Amphetamine: Learning or Incentive Salience?”
The dissertation committee included: Paul Garris (chair) from the School of Biological Sciences, Joe Casto from the School of Biological Sciences, Byron Heidenreich from the Department of Psychology, Steven Juliano from the School of Biological Sciences, and Wolfgang Stein from the School of Biological Sciences.
