We are excited to be featured in a Wallace Foundation blog post that shares an interview with Erika Hunt, Ph.D., about the newly released book titled Reforming Principal Preparation at the State Level: Perspectives on Policy Reform from Illinois. The book illustrates how higher education, P–12 schools, and statewide and community organizations worked together to transform the way principals are prepared.
In the interview, Hunt shares why the team never felt like they could write the book on their own because the story had to be told by everybody who was at the table. The book doesn’t catch everybody but hopes to ensure that people understood that any policy that brings different perspectives into it is just so much richer.
