Professor and Chair of the Department of Geology, Geography, and the Environment Dagmar Budikova will present a talk at 4:30 p.m. Friday, November 1, at the University Club in the Founders Suite of the Bone Student Center.
Budikova recently published a paper that has garnered national attention relating Arctic Ocean sea ice to heat wave frequency in the United States. She will discuss these data and the increasing concern about global climate change.
All faculty, staff, annuitants, and ISU community members are welcome to attend the University Club from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Fridays in the Founders Suite of the Bone Student Center. The campus community is invited.
