Gamma Phi Circus is proud to announce that they will be performing with Tony, Emmy, and Grammy award winner, Billy Porter, at the 93rd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 28, 2019, in New York City. Tune in to NBC on Thanksgiving morning to witness this once-in-a-lifetime performance by Gamma Phi Circus!
Billy Porter is an award-winning actor, singer, director, composer, and playwright. He began his theater career in 1991 and has been performing on Broadway ever since. He is most recently known for his roles on FX’s Pose, in the Broadway musical Kinky Boots, and for his red-carpet fashion. At the 2019 Emmy Awards, Porter made history by becoming the first openly gay Black man to win an Emmy for Best Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Pray Tell in FX’s Pose.
Throughout the past year Gamma Phi Circus has been celebrating their 90th anniversary and is honored to finish out this year-long celebration by performing in front of their largest audience ever with Billy Porter at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!
