Performances
Ama Oforiwaa Aduonum, MUS/WGS, performed Walking with My Ancestors: Cape Coast Castle at the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts. She gave additional performances at the African American Museum and Genealogical Society in Decatur, Illinois, and at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, as part of their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Summit.
Honors
Michael Hendricks, ANT, received a community engagement award from the University of Missouri’s Office of Extension and Engagement. The award recognized Hendricks and his co-director, Rachel Owen, for their work in co-creating and co-directing the Missouri Science and Technology Policy Fellows (MOST) Initiative.
Steven Mertens, TCH, is the inaugural recipient of the Vincent A. Anfara, Jr. Outstanding Research Award. The award was established by the Middle Level Education Research SIG to recognize members who make significant contributions to middle level education research.
Kathryn Wehrmann, SWK, was inducted into the Social Work Pioneers of the National Association of Social Workers Foundation at a ceremony in Washington, D.C.

T.Y. Wang, POL, presented “’One Country, Two Systems’: Why Taiwan Citizens Reject Beijing’s Overture?” for The Taiwan Relations Act at 40: Democracy in a Changing World at Western Michigan University.

Christopher Breu, ENG/WGS published “After Anti-Foundationalism: Ten Theses on the Limits of Anti-Theory” in What’s Wrong with Anti Theory? (Bloomsbury Press). He also published “Utopian Trade: A Minimal Defense of Intellectual Exchange” in Symploke.
