The 2020 University Research Symposium will be moving online due to the coronavirus (COVID-19). Partnering with Milner Library, the online symposium will utilize ISUReD as a platform to display abstracts and posters/powerpoint presentations.
To participate, students should register and receive faculty mentor approval by April 5. On March 25, an email with the details and the registration link was sent to all students previously registered and their faculty mentor(s).
Students who would like to participate, should complete the registration form again. It will need approval from their advisor/mentor, as there are extra concerns that need to be addressed, such as IRB and intellectual property. Students may choose to only have the abstract displayed and projects without IRB approval can be displayed with a disclaimer provided by the grad school.
Registration, plus, the approval from the advisor is due by 11:59 p.m. (CST) Sunday, April 5.
The plans are for the online site to be open to the public the week of April 27. The online event will be free and open to the public.
The symposium is a university-wide showcase of research, scholarship, and creative activity. Symposium information can be found on the symposium tab of the Graduate School website.
The Graduate School sponsors this annual event with the work of Milner Library.
