No matter where you live at Illinois State University, you will quickly find yourself at home.

Tri-Towers

  • Wilkins, Haynie, and Wright Halls make up Tri-Towers. Close to the action at Redbird Arena and Hancock Stadium, 75 percent of residents at Tri-Towers are new students.
  • Students across campus can loft their beds to make the most of their space.
  • Each residence hall has outdoor basketball courts, and you can play sand volleyball at Tri-Towers.

Hewett and Manchester Halls

  • Hewett and Manchester are a 3-minute walk from the Quad and one block from shops in Uptown Normal.
  • These halls are home to our Themed Living-Learning Communities, floors designated for students who share common interests.
  • Housing staff helps students transition smoothly to college life. Stop by the front desk to reserve study rooms or pick up packages.
  • Each floor has shared bathrooms close to your room.
  • Residence hall rooms across campus come with a twin bed, desk and desk chair, a dresser, and Wi-Fi.
  • Floor lounges serve as a gathering place for students to study and hang out.
  • Each residence hall has a computer lab equipped with printers for its residents.

Watterson Towers

  • Watterson is the tallest residence hall on campus and is located next to the Quad.
  • In Watterson, students build community within Houses, which are made up of five floors.
  • Hungry? Grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Watterson Dining Commons.
  • Both of our dining centers offer many freshly prepared foods and can accommodate your dietary needs.
  • Enjoy the view from the top of Watterson Towers- or challenge your roommate to a game of ping pong.
