For the safety of our campus community, Illinois State University will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 16. This continued closure will provide extended time for crews to safely clear roads and campus grounds. All classes (in-person, hybrid, and online) are cancelled, including evening classes. All assignments and exams for February 16 should be rescheduled for a future date. Residence halls and dining centers will remain open. The Bone Student Center, Student Fitness Center, Bowling and Billiards Center, and Milner Library will be closed. On-campus COVID-19 testing sites will also be closed.
Weather essential personnel should report to work, but no other employee, regardless of current work location (on-campus or remote) should report to work during the closure. At this time, the University plans to resume normal operations on Wednesday, February 17.
