Dr. Surachat Ngorsuraches of the Auburn University Health Outcomes Research and Policy Department will present the webinar Valuing Fear of Contagion: COVID Pandemic on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at noon CST as part of the Illinois State University International Seminar Series. This online event is free and open to the public with advance registration.
Ngorsuraches is an associate professor in the Health Outcomes Research and Policy Department of Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy. He earned his doctoral degree in Social and Administrative Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has more than 25 years of experience in teaching, conducting research, and leading administrative teams. He has been the principal investigator of several extramural funding research projects, and his research areas include pharmaceutical economics and policy, focusing on patient preference and patient-centered value assessment.
Currently he is leading “Measuring the Value of Fear of Contagion in COVID-19 Care,” a study supported by a $100,00 grant from the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA).
The COVID 19: International Perspectives seminar series is a collaboration between the Illinois State University Office of International Studies and Programs and the Mennonite College of Nursing with coordination by Dean Judy Neubrander and Dr. Susana Calderon.
