In March 2020 when COVID-19 was declared a pandemic, Dr. Rocio Rivadeneyra was in the middle of a faculty-led study abroad semester in Spain with 15 Illinois State University students. A year later, Rivadeneyra and students Mohammed Mirza, Weronika Trzaska, and Joseph Troyer will share what this experience was like during Honors City as Text: Barcelona in the Time of a Pandemic on Wednesday, March 10, at noon.
This event is free and open to the public with advance registration.
This webinar is part of the COVID 19: International Perspectives seminar series, a collaboration between the Illinois State University Office of International Studies and Programs and the Mennonite College of Nursing with coordination by Dean Judy Neubrander and Dr. Susana Calderon.
The seminar continues each Wednesday throughout the Spring 2021 semester with a variety of speakers from around the world. For questions about registration, contact Matt Schwab or Linda Bollivar.
