The Senior Professionals Academy of Seniors and Mornings with the Professors series returns for the fall with classes on subjects ranging from agriculture in China, to forensic science, to a secret history of writing. Classes will be presented in a hybrid format and participants can attend in person at Ilinois State University’s Alumni Center or on Zoom.
The Academy of Seniors classes begin Thursday, September 16, with an examination of agriculture in contemporary China. Other classes will cover solving crimes with forensic science, an overview of issues in the American legal system, and 17th century Dutch art. Find out more.
Mornings with the Professors classes begin Friday, September 24 with a talk by the music director and a puppeteer from the Sesame Street children’s television show. Other classes in the series will cover energy infrastructure in Illinois, the art of Pablo Picasso, photography, the National Park system, and a secret history of writing. Find out more.

Academy of Seniors and Mornings with the Professors are adult-enrichment programs sponsored by Illinois State University’s Senior Professionals organization. Classes are taught by professors from Illinois State University, Illinois Wesleyan University, and by community experts.
