Christopher C. Mulligan, CHE, was awarded the Research at a Primarily Undergraduate Institution (PUI) Award from the American Society for Mass Spectrometry. This award honors and supports mass spectrometry-based research involving undergraduate students.
Presentations
Tamra Davis Connor, Barbara Ribbens, and Madeline Trimble, COB, presented workshops at the 59th annual fall conference of the Illinois Business Education Association (IBEA), Adding Cultural Fluency to Your Briefcase.
Steven Mertens and Kristina Falbe, COE, presented “Illinois Schools to Watch: Principal perceptions of becoming an Illinois Horizon Schools to Watch” at the annual meeting of the Association for Middle Level Education, and the American Educational Research Association. For both conferences, Mertens also co-presented “Celebrating Dr. John H. Lounsbury’s influence on our teaching and scholarship.”
Publications
Kristen Lagally, KNR, along with student Marcel Lopes Dos Santo were co-authors of “The effect of load based on body mass percentage on peak power output in the hang power clean, hang high pull, and mid-thigh clean pull,” for The Journal of Sports Medicine and Physical Fitness.
T.Y. Wang, POL, co-authored the book chapter “Identity and Taiwan’s 2020 Presidential Election” (in Chinese) in Taiwan’s 2020 Presidential Election: The Beginning of a New Era (Taipei: Wunan Publishing Company).
