The Illinois State Founding Celebration will take place on Wednesday, February 16 and Thursday, February 17, 2022.
During the celebration, the University will observe such traditions as the Bell Ringing Ceremony, the Faculty/Staff Appreciation Luncheon, and the Alumni Awards Dinner. Many faculty, staff, and alumni will receive awards and recognition, and the University will hold a posthumous Honorary Degree Investiture for Andrew Purnell, ‘57.
