Illinois State University faculty members have the chance to participate in a survey of job satisfaction.
The survey is conducted by the national program Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE). Operating from the Harvard Graduate School of Education since 2003, COACHE will provide an independent, research-driven, comparative study.
“The views of faculty are especially important to us as we strive to attract and retain the best scholars and teachers, increase the satisfaction of all faculty, and make Illinois State University a great place to work,” said Vice President of Academic Affairs and Provost Aondover Tarhule.
The survey, designed to determine faculty members’ current job satisfaction compared to faculty at peer institutions, will be emailed directly to faculty members during the week of February 7 to their University accounts. Participation will entail completing a 25-minute, web-based survey. COACHE will not use any name or email address for any purposes except for this research. The survey will be due April 11, 2022.
