Lewberger is coming to Illinois State University to perform at 8 p.m. on September 9 at Braden Auditorium in the Bone Student Center.
This handsome, three-man comedy band based in Los Angeles got a standing ovation on America’s Got Talent and were finalists on NBC’s Bring The Funny. Their viral songs, such as “Locking My Car” and “Disney Princess,” have been heard by millions online and on TV, and they’ve been described as the illegitimate love child of Lonely Island and Flight of the Conchords.
Redbirds may recognize one familiar face as School of Theatre and Dance alum Keith Habersberger ’08, a member of The Try Guys, a viral, award-winning YouTube group with over 2 billion views and almost 8 million subscribers. Alex Lewis is an actor and comedian who can be seen on several TV shows and the movies All About Nina as well as the Valley Girl remake. Hughie Stone Fish is an Emmy Award-winning songwriter and a music producer/educator with a nonprofit bringing arts education to his hometown of Syracuse, New York.
Prices run at $15 for pit level and $10 for orchestra level. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday, August 10 at 10 a.m. at the Braden Box Office, located in the Bone Student Center, 200 N. University St. in Normal, and at ticketmaster.com.
Lewberger has played clubs and colleges all over the country. Their latest comedy special Lewberger: Live at Lincoln Hall can be found on Amazon Prime, and their podcast Celebrity Theme Song can be heard on all streaming platforms.
