The Alumni Association Board of Directors formed the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee to find opportunities to partner with the University to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives for students and alumni.
As part of this initiative, the committee is holding a virtual Redbird Representation Community Forum for all Redbird alumni to reflect and collect insights regarding their thoughts and experiences. This open discussion will ask Redbirds to share how they want to learn more about the Alumni Association’s DEI committee’s efforts, how much they know already, and how they were involved with any DEI initiatives on campus and how that is represented today. Attendees are also asked to bring questions about new spaces on campus and what they would like to see in the future.
