The Illinois State University Symphony Orchestra will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday, September 24, in the University’s Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for faculty/staff, and $6 for students and seniors.
The program will include the world premiere of Tidal Rhythms by Illinois State University Associate Professor of Music Martha Horst, and Carl Reinecke’s Concerto for Flute and Orchestra with soloist Kimberly Risinger, professor of flute at Illinois State. The program will also include Antonin Dvořák’s Symphony No. 7.
The orchestra will perform under the direction of Illinois State’s Director of Orchestras Glenn Block.
