Guest conductor Maestro Jorge Lhez will explore music from his home country, Argentina, as the ISU Symphony Orchestra performs at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at Illinois State University’s Center for the Performing Arts concert hall.
Among the works Lhez will be conducting is El Tarco en Flor by Luis Gianneo, who is also from Argentina. The orchestra will also perform works by Mozart and Beethoven as a part of this weekend’s concert.
The program will feature Mozart’s Divertimento in D Major, Luis Gianneo’s El Tarco en Flor, and Beethoven’s Symphony No.7.
