Dr. James Applegate of the Center for the Study of Education Policy (CSEP) attended and spoke at the Innovation and Public-Private Partnership in Higher Education conference held April 3–4 in Arlington, Virginia. P3•EDU is an invitation-only event bringing together a select group of university leaders and a handful of private company CEOs to network and share best practices around public-private partnerships in higher education.
The P3 (public/private partnership) innovation conference focused on the future of P3s in helping universities address increasing demands to provide quality education to more diverse learners in an era of declining resources. P3 partnerships in both business and academic sector of the university were explored. In the session International Recruiting & Global Student Engagement, Applegate spoke on a panel focused on P3s supporting efforts to internationalize campuses.
