The College of Applied Sciences and Technology (CAST) is still receiving applications for the Washington, D.C 2019 summer internships.
Selected students in the past have had the opportunity to work with government agencies in Washington D.C. Examples include the White House, National Archives, Department of State, Homeland Security, National Institutes of Health, United States Department of Agriculture, Department of Justice, Department of Transportation, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Department of Health and Human Services, Food and Drug Administration, Securities and Exchange Commission, and hundreds more encompassing all disciplines and majors.
This program provides students with an unmatched work experience. You’ll have the opportunity to meet new people in a different city over the summer. CAST also covers the housing costs for selected students.
Criteria for Qualification:
- Undergraduate students with majors in CAST. Must have earned a minimum of 75 semester hours by the end of the current semester. Minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25 is required.
- Full-time students in CAST graduate programs. Must have earned a minimum of 16 semester hours. Minimum grade point average of 3.50 is required.
