The Department of Educational Administration and Foundations (EAF) is hosting information sessions throughout the spring semester on its nationally ranked Ed.D. and Ph.D. programs. Higher education administration Ph.D.
The higher education administration Ph.D. empowers professionals in higher education to further their careers at the university level. Classes take place four weekends per semester with an online component on Tuesdays. Most participants are part-time students who are employed full time. For questions, contact Dianne Renn.
P-12 administration Ed.D.
The P–12 administration Ph.D. builds capacity in aspiring P–12 leaders through curriculum focused on school improvement, equity, ethics, and social justice. It includes the superintendent and chief school business official (CSBO) endorsements. Most classes take place on campus Wednesday evenings. Blended and online delivery are offered for some course work. This program aligns with the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate (CPED). For questions, contact Brad Hutchison.
Leadership, equity, and inquiry Ph.D.
The leadership, equity, and inquiry (LEI) Ph.D. was created for administrative and teacher leaders who aspire to make a positive impact on social justice and equity in education. This Chicago-based cohort meets four weekends per semester, and most participants are part-time students who work full time.
