Scholar, author, and award-winner Michael Eric Dyson gave the keynote address for the soldout Martin Luther King Jr. Cultural Dinner on Friday, January 25, 2019, in Redbird Arena. Dyson spoke about current events and gave his analysis on pressing issues around culture and race.
A University Professor of Sociology at Georgetown University, Dyson is a fixture on major media outlets and is a contributing editor to TIME magazine. He hosts a news and talk program on NPR, “The Michael Eric Dyson Show.”
