A special meeting of the Illinois State University Alumni Association membership has been called by Association President Doug Reeves ’69 for membership to vote on amendments to the Association’s constitution.
The proposed changes will look at the election of members to the Association’s board of directors as discussed Article III, section 2 and Article IV section 2. The changes will allow for a more transparent election process for those seeking interest in serving on the board of directors.

The special meeting is scheduled for Saturday, April 13, 2019, beginning at 11 a.m. (following the scheduled board of directors’ meeting) at the Illinois State University Alumni Center, 1101 N. Main St., Normal, IL 61761.
Alumni with active membership status in the Alumni Association are eligible to vote at the meeting. To be active, alumni must have made a gift through the Illinois State University Foundation in the current or preceding fiscal year.
